RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
+ Provide hands on leadership to the hourly workforce and management of all daily operations including subcontractors in the effort of meeting the production goals and to strive for continuous improvement in a safe efficient manner.
+ Implement the positive safety culture in the quarry operation including communication, training, and improvements.
+ Implement the long term, short term, and daily mine plan.
+ Daily supervision and scheduling of hourly personnel to meet production demands. Key emphasis is the safe operation complying with all MSHA standards.
+ Manage all day-to-day quarry operation activities, stripping, dump management, road maintenance, efficient production, the maintenance of the stationary and the mobile equipment, water management, general grounds management.
+ Perform routine daily plant and hazard inspections.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Leadership capabilities.
+ Other duties as assigned.
+ Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. *Supervisory experience in a union environment preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance.
+ Track and inventory critical spare parts.
+ Make recommendations to improve efficiency and run time.
+ Maintain and repair mobile equipment, stationary crushing plant, and portable crushing plants, wash plants, screen plants, and conveyors.
+ Plant maintenance includes splicing belts, replacing rollers, drive belts, gear boxes, electric motors
+ Mobile equipment maintenance including factory lights, backup alarms, hydraulic systems, brakes
+ Diagnose and repair electrical components.
+ Operate heavy equipment to diagnose problems.Utilize operating manuals to implement manufacturers recommendations.
+ Utilize latest software for equipment diagnosis.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
+ Two years previous experience with mobile equipment and aggregate crushingPerform all jobs in a clean and orderly manner.
+ Strive to perform repairs in a safe and timely manner within a production driven environment.
+ Ability to read, write, and computer skills related to maintenance tracking and reporting.
+ Ability to coordinate with manufacturer representatives and or outside technical advisors.
+ Welding and technical training preferred.
+ MSHA training will be required prior to performing work duties.
+ Must pass physical, drug screen, and background check.
